Last weekend Fern GP attended rounds 3 and 4 of the Monoposto Reprise IT Tiedeman Trophy. Our drivers, Nigel Davers (77) and Nigel Howard (18) drove fantastically and brought home good results and two trophies to add to our collection. Our drivers also finished 1st and 2nd.

Testing commenced on Thursday the 5th. Both of our drivers made good progress throughout the day, pushing their abilities to make sure they could extract the best from our cars.

We had good weather conditions for the whole weekend, with temperatures of 22 degrees on Saturday. Qualifying took place on Saturday morning, we saw a red flag with 5 minutes to go, caused by a collision due to a driver dodging a spinning car, which then ended in contact being made with another driver. Luckily, after the debris had been cleared, the session resumed for another 5 minutes. Nigel Davers took position 3 ahead of Race 1. Nigel Howard started in position 6, due to getting caught up in a buildup of traffic on track.

Race 1 and Race 2 were timed to 15 minutes each. Our drivers gained really good results coming 1st and 2nd.

We were very happy with our drivers’ progress over the weekend and we will be returning for rounds 5 and 6 on the 5th of November at Silverstone Circuit.
